And now for something completely different..........

You can take your Mirabilias, your Lavender and Lace, Your Long Dog samplers but nothing can the place ..........
of a hardworkin' vehicle.

Thats right folks. My next project picked out by my son is an excavator.
He was full of opinions on the colors (wanted to pick out his own) and fabric. He picked out Fiddler's Cloth "look mom its the color of dirt!" In the end I sort of convinced him on white material and following the color scheme. He must of asked me 50 times if I was going to start stitching. I tried to explain that it may take some time to which he replied "You are going to stitch all day-right?" I'll be under more pressure than Old Faithful so right now I should be stitching instead of writing. I hope I will be able to stitch fast enough to keep up with his interest. After I brought home the fabric and thread he starting saying 'Well, I think you should make the dump truck so they can play together" Oh my!

Ok here is my second attempt at posting photos.. ARGH!
Here is a picture of Frederick the Literary Cat. I started him a few days ago and he looks to be an enjoyable stitch.

Here is a picture of Lazy Afternoon. It is my second oldest WIP.

Finally this is picture of my niece's baby quilt. She will be 3 on September 11th. I started it before she was born and hopefully will finish before she is in college!

Of course as I preview this, I realize that it is off-center. Oh well baby steps...

I've been a bad blogger...
When I started writing this blog I was deternined to make regular entries but alas fear of the digital camera and my own lack of words kept me from writing. I am trying to become better at both and am determined to blog regularly even if it is only interesting to me;) Originally I wanted to keep track of my stitching projects to keep me motivated so here are a few of the projects I have been working on regularly. (As I write this my autistic son is having a tantrum because he has broken yet another toy so my time is sadly limited and stressed). Stitching keeps me sane! So here goes...........
